Flybe administration: update
To members of the British Regional Airlines Group Pension Scheme
Flybe Limited (Flybe)
You will no doubt be aware of this morning’s very sad news that Flybe went into administration at around 03.30 a.m. with the appointment of administrators from Ernst & Young. The Board of BRAL Trustees (IOM) Limited (the Trustee) is meeting later today to make an initial assessment of the impact of Flybe’s administration on the Scheme and to determine how best to secure the Scheme’s position in light of this news. We will therefore be communicating with you in this regard in due course. The Trustee’s communications to Scheme members and pensioners will be posted on the Scheme website but will also be sent by post or, as appropriate, by email to the extent you have consented to us communicating with you by email.
Email communications
If you have not already done so, and you wish for us to communicate with you by email, you must provide the Scheme Administrator with your email address. The Trustee’s use of your email will be in compliance with its obligations under applicable data protection laws, further detail of which can be found under the Trustee’s Privacy Notice on the Scheme website. In order to provide your email address, please contact the Scheme Administrator via the email you wish the Trustee to use at bralgroup.adm@mercer.com. By so providing your email address you confirm that you are providing your consent for the Trustee to contact you via email in respect of your rights and entitlements under the Scheme. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing bralgroup.adm@mercer.com and confirming your withdrawal of consent.
